JewelStepped out of the dress at midnight in the soft warm bedroom light. The day finally surrendered. Sitting on the edge of the bed in the silk slip with my hair down, looking at the phone, hoping the right message comes through ⏳
JewelWalked to the candlelit vintage mirror in the new long ivory silk robe. Twice, because the second time felt different. Come over and tell me which version was the right one. I think it was the second 🪞
JewelBath drawn, soft white robe on, the playlist that knows me playing low, headphones on the small bench beside the tub. The kind of night I usually host alone. Tonight I want company. Be the company 🎶
JewelBedroom light at ten at night is the only honest light there is. I am at the edge of the bed in the long ivory slip in the dim warm light, thinking. The thing I am thinking about is you. Come over before the candle gets low 🌙
JewelNew long satin opera gloves arrived. Standing at the candlelit bedroom mirror pulling them on slowly. Tried them on twice. The mirror approved. Come over. I want you to be the one who takes them off ✨
JewelLong mirror selfie in the sunny bedroom this morning in the oversized cream cardigan. The cardigan is the only thing in frame I planned. I am saving the shot for you in my drafts. Ask me to send it. I will, slowly 📸
JewelSunday bath night. Soft music on, candle lit on the shelf, the wine glass on the edge. Wrapped in the fluffy white robe, sitting on the small bench beside the tub. The hour I do not negotiate, except for you. Come over 🛀
JewelGot the call to stay late at the office. Took the fitted black dress off instead and hung it on the closet door in the soft light. I am in the slip now. The night is not the office's anymore. It is yours, if you walk in 👗
JewelSunset on the balcony in the soft slip dress, wine glass full, the view doing the thing it always does at this hour. I left the door to the balcony open. Walk in, the second chair on the right is yours 🍷
JewelStretched on the sunny apartment rug after morning yoga in the soft athletic clothes. Earned the slow morning, the kind where I do not need to check the clock. Come over, the coffee is poured and the rug is wide enough 🧘♀️
JewelNew champagne satin sheets on the bed. Saturday in the soft camisole. Phone off. Come over, no one is going to interrupt. The afternoon is the slow kind and the sheets are still cool 🛏️
JewelWalked to the darkened apartment window at night in the long silk robe. The streetlight noticed, in the way streetlights do. I want you to be the one who notices next time. Come over, the robe is the soft one 🌃
JewelLate afternoon nap. The rumpled cream sheets are honest about how late it got. I am in the satin slip with my hair on the pillow. Come over. The bed is the warm kind. I will not change it 🛌
JewelBath salts in the water, candles on the shelf, sitting on the edge in the soft white robe. The hour I take from no one tonight. Get in with me. The water is the right temperature and the candle has another forty minutes 🕯️
JewelSlept in late this morning in the soft cream camisole. The coffee is on the night-table for two and the curtains are doing the thing the light only does at this hour. Come back to bed. The morning is mine, and I want it to be ours 🌅
JewelNew champagne satin pyjamas. The set with the matching robe, of course. Standing in the sunny bedroom in both. The seamstress understood. Come over, I want you to be the one who sees this set in the right light first 🌹
JewelSunday in the soft bed reading the new novel in the cream satin pyjamas. The sheets are messy in the right way. I marked the page I want you to read first. Come climb in, the second pillow is for you 📖
JewelSlept in the cream sheets that still smell like you from last week. Did not change them. Could not. Lying in the soft slip in the morning light thinking about the next time you come over. Make it soon 🛏️
JewelQuiet rain morning at the sunny window seat in the soft cream robe with the tea cup. The kind of slow that earns the day. The second cup is on the saucer next to me. Come sit, you do not have to say anything for the first ten minutes ☕
JewelSunday morning. No alarms set. The cream linen pyjamas are on. The light is good. The bed is wide enough for two and I have the side closest to the window. Stay a while. I am not making plans 🛏️
