MorriganWalked the Victorian cemetery at dusk again in the long black trench coat. The stones know the route. I thought about you between them, in the way I do when the light hits the granite the right way. Come walk it with me sometime 🪦
MorriganNew long heavy black wool coat for autumn. Standing in the sunny apartment doorway in it. The weight is earned, the kind that makes you stand a little straighter. Come over, I want to wear it for the first walk with you tonight 🍂
MorriganWalked the dim city at midnight in the long black coat and the knee-high boots. The streetlights know my coat by now. I was thinking about which apartment I wanted to be in, and the answer was yours. The walk took longer than it should have on purpose 🌃
MorriganTattoo appointment Thursday. Yes another one, on the forearm this time. Showing the fresh scorpion in the studio mirror. Stop counting. Come over later, I want you to see it in good light and tell me what you think 🦂
MorriganNew eyeliner pencil from the brand I trust. The black is the only black that counts. Standing at the bathroom mirror applying it slowly in the sunny light. The mirror approves. Come over before the rest of the makeup, I want you to see the cleanest version of the line 🖋️
MorriganNew cartilage piercing today. The shop knows me by sight, the artist knew exactly where I wanted it. Showing the fresh piece in the studio mirror in the fitted black top. Come over, I want you to be the second person who sees it close up 💎
MorriganNew fitted black mesh top arrived. The seamstress understood the brief. Standing in the sunny apartment doorway in it doing the small turn. Come over before I change. I want you to see it before I layer anything underneath 🕸️
MorriganFound a vintage black Victorian corset at the thrift store this afternoon. The seamstress will love it, the boning is intact. I bought it without thinking. I am holding it up at the vintage mirror, deciding. Come over and decide for me 🖤
MorriganFound a vintage Sisters of Mercy LP on the wall at the record shop this afternoon. The cover is the original pressing, the kind that smells of someone's old apartment. I bought it. I want to put it on the turntable with you in the room 💿
MorriganShow tonight at the dim concert venue in the fitted leather jacket. The band is from Berlin, which means I will not be home before three. Come find me at the back of the room. I will be the one nodding along, half watching the door 🎤
MorriganPicked up the new long silver chain from the artisan shop today. The weight is the point, the way it sits across the black mesh. Standing at the sunny vanity fastening it slowly. I want you to be the one who sees it for the first time 🖤
MorriganWalked the Gothic cathedral grounds at twilight in the long black coat. The bells were unkind, the way bells in old places sometimes are. I was thinking about the time you asked me what I believe in. I have a longer answer now. Come over and ask again 🔔
MorriganLate night writing in the leather journal by candlelight at the small desk. The chapter wants to be a horror story tonight. I am going to let it. I want you to read this one when it is done. You will recognise the protagonist on the third page ✍️
MorriganNew tall black combat boots arrived this afternoon. Lacing them up on the sunny apartment doorstep in the fitted skirt. The leather is exactly the right kind of stiff, which means they will get good with time. Come over, I am wearing them for the rest of the night ⚫
MorriganPracticed the new makeup look at the candlelit vanity tonight in the black slip. Smoky eye, the kind that takes an hour of mirror time. Worth it. The result is sitting on my face right now and the room is the right colour. Walk in before I wash it off 🪞
MorriganLate dinner alone at the dive bar tonight in the leather jacket. The whisky is good. So is the silence. I left the stool next to me open on purpose. Come sit, you do not have to say anything for the first ten minutes 🥃
MorriganNew chunky silver rings arrived today. Showing them on my fingers in the sunny doorway. The hands feel honest now, the kind of honest that comes from having the right weight on them. Come over, I want you to see them up close 💍
MorriganLate night reading the new gothic novel by lamp light in the dark velvet armchair. The villain is misunderstood, the way I sometimes feel I am. Come over, the second armchair is empty and I have the chapter marked I want to read aloud to you 📚
MorriganVintage corset arrived. The lining is silk. The seamstress understood ✨
MorriganWalked the derelict urban building tour at dusk in the fitted black coat. The graffiti is finally honest in there, the kind you only see when no one is around. I took the photo of the room with the broken window for you. It is in my camera roll 🏚️
